Elder
Friends was created by specialists
in the field of aging, Pam Dannelevitz and Anita
Silverman. Their goal is to meet the specific
needs of Seniors who can care for themselves but require
just a little bit more stimulation, organization, and
understanding. Our enhanced companions are trained by an
RN and a Gerontologist to support and embrace the
independence and wellness of active older adults through
social interaction and cultural enrichment.
Pam
Dannelevitz, RN, CMC, a
native of Chicago, has been serving the senior
 community
in South Florida for over 25 years. Pam has been a
Medicare Home Health Nurse, Director of Nursing and an
Administrator for two large private homecare companies.
She had her own practice as a geriatric care manager,
then chose to join a larger corporate environment. Pam
has now returned to private
practice to focus on developing and managing several
elder projects. Her background has served her well in
providing quality services to enhance the lives of her
clients and their families. She is a member of the
Academy of Certified Care Managers and the National
Association of Professional of Geriatric Care managers.
Anita
Silverman, MS, NHA, CMC,
a New Yorker, has been a geriatric care manager in South
Florida since 1993 and has always been a proponent of
 successful
aging. She has been a Florida Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
since 1994 and is a member of the Academy of Certified Care Managers
and the National Association of Professional Geriatric
Care Managers. Her commitment to enhancing the lives of
older adults has taken her from the nursing home arena,
to care management in a community agency, to her own
private practice, and then into a corporate environment. She now turns to a
more focused care management
practice with specialized services. Anita holds an M.S. in
Gerontology and Elder Care Studies from Lynn University,
Boca Raton, Florida.
Pam
Dannelevitz and Anita Silverman
are passionate about improving the lives of elders.
After many years of independent careers, they merged
their strengths to create a new concept in elder
services to meet the needs of Seniors who just need a
little TLC. They are proud to offer Elder Friends as a
complement to their existing care management practice. |
